- They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, And condemn the innocent blood.
- But the LORD hath been my high tower, And my God the rock of my refuge.

- The cords of death compassed me, And the pains of Sheol gat hold upon me.
- I found trouble and sorrow; then called I upon the name of the LORD.
- O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; Yea, our God is merciful. The LORD preserveth the simple.
- I was brought low, and he saved me.
- Return unto thy rest, O my soul; For the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

- Holiness becometh thy house, O  LORD, for evermore.
- The LORD reigneth; he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength.
